We made it to China! The flight took about 13 hours. It was not as bad as we thought as we didn’t really see much last night. It was a long travel day. Miriam was surprised how much Beijing felt like any American city. She even said, “Look, they have stop lights.” I am not sure what she was expecting. We saw an impressive sunrise on the plane. That was probably the highlight for day 1!!
